Task Description
EvalDB: Inventory of evaluation studies We have analysed 1.035 evaluation studies that have been published between 1982 and 2002 in PubMed. They have been uniformly described and made available for free in a web-based data base.
QPool: Inventory of validated questionnaires Questionnaires used to assess various aspects in medical informatics evaluation studies (e.g. satisfaction with computer-based systems) will be made available in a web-based data base.
Coordination of the construction of the Yearbook "Medical Informatics" of the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) (since 2000) The IMIA-Yearbook appears yearly. It provides an overview of the most outstanding reasearch work in the area of medical informatics. It also contains detailed information about IMIA as well as about the worldwide activities of its membership organizations and working groups.
Chairing of the EFMI-Working Group "Assessment of Health Information Systems"

The Working Group "Assessment of Health Information Systems" of the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI) was founded in 2002. The tasks of the working group are to to promote theory and practice of evaluation of health information systems, taking into account approaches from a variety of scientific fields.

Participation in IT strategy committee of the Tyrolean Privincial Hospitals A committee for the strategic planning of information management and information technology (IT-strategy committee) was founded to support the director of the TILAK and the respective department head. The first task was the creation of an IT strategy for the Tyrolean Provincial Hospitals (TILAK).
